Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in television. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, as well as independent films and commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found that she was a performer with a love. Then she moved into New York in 2001 and she got her first role in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in the year 2004 on the short dramatic The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in the role of a regular cast member on CSI Miami was announced a couple of minutes later. She played Marisol Deko as the husband of David Caruso's Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is born of Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano started her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her at an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 hopefuls. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
