Emily Irene VanCamp initially aspired to become a professional actor however, she became intrigued after visiting Katie in the Ladies Room film set. Her career in acting began when she began taking classes. Also, she got guest spots on shows from her home country of Canada. VanCamp made a breakthrough in his career after being cast as an actor in the role of Sam Dolan on the WB horror mystery show Glory Days.
